In order to facilitate the continuation of study of language by our valued customers, the Ultimate Language Store has decided to create a ground breaking buy back policy for its customers. Any Comprehensive Level CDs or Cassettes purchased from the Ultimate Language Store and still in good condition may be sold back to the Ultimate Language Store for a Cash Payment. They may also be sold back for a voucher applicable toward another level of Pimsleur.
Our normal $100 Buy Back for each Comprehensive CD Course extends to all purchases made before January 15th, 2006. Our current buy back offer of $120 for Comprehensive CDs and $80 for Comprehensive Cassettes applies to purchases made after January 15th, 2006. Audiofy Bookchips are bought back for $85 per Bookchip (BookChips purchased from other vendors may be sold back for credit only). Beginning on September 15, 2006, a new promotion is running. All Comprehensive CDs purchased on or after September 15, will be purchased back for $125. This increased buy back will apply to all Comprehensive CDs purchased from September 15 through November 15. After this our we will revert to the $120.
What do I need to do to qualify?
- To qualify for a buy back the item must be returned within 1 year of purchase.
- The item(s) must have been purchased from Ultimate Language Store.
- All items must be included (i.e. original case, reading booklet, all CDs or Cassettes, etc.)
- All CDs or Cassettes must be in working condition.
- Only Comprehensive Level programs are eligible for the full $120 payment. Instant Conversation sets are eligible for a $25 buy back.
- Customer will pay for shipping to the Ultimate Language Store.
- Payment is made via Check, Pay Pal, Credit Card Refund as specified by customer; A coupon towards another Pimsleur Product may also be requested. Many buy backs are processed within one week. Payments are usually made within 5- 6 weeks of the set(s) being received and payment process depends on the number of buy backs being processed in any given period. All buy back sets are processed as guaranteed.
- Buy Back sets MUST be sent with delivery confirmation or tracking options (i.e. DHL, UPS, FedEx, or US Postal Service with Delivery Confirmation). Customers MUST retain this information for delivery verification. If the set is mailed through the US Postal service, delivery confirmation or certified mail must be used. Insurance alone is not sufficient as it does not provide tracking or delivery confirmation. The tracking information will serve as the customer's confirmation that the item has been received.
What about if I did "not" purchase the item from the Ultimate Language Store?
If you did "not" purchase from us, we can offer you $90 cash (CDs) we can offer you a CHANGE LOYALTY voucher $100 for CDs and $80 for Cassettes. These must be the most current editions available. All other rules apply as noted above.
No item purchased back will be sold as new. All of our items on this site are new items, latest editions, in shrink wrap direct from the publisher, Simon & Schuster.

Other businesses have tried to imitate our buyback program but fall short in that they only offer $100 "vouchers" good towards another purchase or employ an "overall condition" scheme to give you even less than the promised amount if your set isn't mint. And if you want cash? They only give you $80. We believe in honesty in advertising so we let the customer decide, voucher or check, and if the CDs work, you get paid the full $120 - no strings attached, no further obligations to buy.
